South Africa’s largest individually timed cycling race is set to go in March 2017

The 2017 Cape Town Cycle Tour is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 12 March 2017 with some 35 000 avid cyclists taking on the 109-km route around the Cape Peninsula.

It’s arguably the highlight of the road cycling calendar and many enthusiastic riders are eager to take to the Mother City’s scenic roads once again. The Cape Town Cycle Tour
(formerly known as the Cape Argus Cycle Tour) will see still see cyclists from all over the globe take to the starting line on Hertzog Boulevard for the 40th time this year.

The route is the same as usual, taking cyclists from the city centre, down the M3 through to Muizenberg and as far south as Smitswinkel. From there they will then head north
again, through Hout Bay and Camps Bay to the finish line in Green Point.
