Wings for angels
February 21, 2017
Distance for Difference (D4D) recently donated R50 000 to Little Angels Daycare and Rehabilitation Centre, a residential home for children and youths in the Helderberg area who are disabled, particularly through cerebral palsy. The donation was made possible through D4D bi-annual cycling event, THE500, held last October at the Lord Charles Hotel. Little Angels (LA) is the latest beneficiary of this group’s efforts, having made a difference to the lives of many children in need since its inception 10 years ago. At the handover, from left, were Janet Yates (LA board member), Tacia Roux (D4D office administrator and fundraiser), Lily Masson (LA board member) and James Anderson (D4D board member).
